A piece of the Orient for your home! This Bidjar carpet - Indus is based on the classic Persian Bidjar carpets of the Kurds. The Bidjar is known for its durability and robustness due to its particularly strong knotting using the traditional Turkish knot. This technique makes the rug dirt-repellent and guarantees its longevity: its pile is pressed together so tightly with a comb that it almost stands upright. The Herati pattern is a popular design, but attractive medallion and floral designs are also available.
