This Ziegler carpet - Kazak brings a breath of fresh air into your home! The Kazak knotting area is located in the Caucasus. The carpet's pattern is inspired by geometric patterns from Russia, and the wool is dyed with natural vegetable dyes. The carpets are hard-wearing and have strong colours. After knotting, the carpets are washed with stones to achieve the special shiny character. Nowadays, the Kazaks you find in in local stores and online are almost always carpets that were knotted in Pakistan or Afghanistan and whose patterns are based on the ancient models of the entire Caucasus region.
