Statutory right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Morgenland Teppiche, Brook 9, 20457 Hamburg, Germany, mail@morgenland-teppiche.de, Tel.: (+49)4038632777) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you revoke this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, with the exception of delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs arising from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay. Repayment will be made no later than fourteen days from the date on which we receive your declaration of revocation. We will carry out such repayment using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees in connection with such repayment. We may refuse repayment until the goods have been returned to us or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period. If a wrong or damaged product is delivered by Morgenland Carpets, Morgenland Carpets will reimburse the customer for the costs of shipping and return shipping. If a customer receives a damaged product, the customer must provide proof in the form of a photo or video of the product and packaging in high and understandable quality.
A flat-rate shipping fee will be charged for returns of products outside of Germany, which you can find here.
If you return a product outside of Germany and there is no error on the part of Morgenland Teppiche, the costs for shipping and return will be deducted. Orders within Germany and deliveries within Germany are eligible for free shipping and returns. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Withdrawal of special orders.
Please note that special orders cannot be returned or refunded unless the customer can prove damage or an error on the part of Morgenland Carpets. In such cases, the customer must prove their claim for a return or refund of the order by providing high-quality photos or videos. This policy ensures that we maintain our commitment to delivering high-quality, personalized products while protecting the interests of our customers.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts: contracts for the delivery of non-prefabricated goods, the production of which is based on the individual selection or determination by the consumer or which are expressly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

Special notes
If you finance this contract with a loan and later revoke it, you are also released from the loan agreement if both contracts form an economic unit. This is particularly the case if we are your lender or your lender is dependent on our cooperation for the financing. If we have already received the loan when the revocation takes effect, your lender shall assume our rights and obligations under the financed contract with regard to the legal consequences of the revocation or return. The latter shall not apply if the contract concerns the purchase of financial instruments (e.g. securities, currencies or derivatives). To avoid contractual obligations in the best possible way, exercise your right of revocation and also revoke the loan agreement if you have a right of revocation for it.
31-day voluntary right of return
For all carpets that you purchase from Morgenland, we grant you a voluntary right of return in addition to the statutory right of withdrawal. The period for exercising the voluntary right of return begins at the end of the statutory withdrawal period and ends
31 days after receipt of the goods. Timely dispatch is sufficient to meet the deadline. However, in order to exercise the voluntary right of return, you must return the goods in their original condition, intact and undamaged, in the original or comparable packaging. If you would like to make use of our returns service, please contact our customer service team by emailing mail@morgenland-teppiche.de. You will then receive the returns information and your returns label by email. If you are unable to print out the returns label, we can also send you the documents by post. The voluntary right of return does not apply to the purchase of gift vouchers.
