Vacuum regularly

Vacuum your rug regularly to remove dust and dirt. As a rule, once a week is sufficient; more frequently if the rug is subjected to heavy use.

Remove stains immediately

Act immediately when a stain occurs: absorb excess liquid with an absorbent cloth or paper and avoid rubbing. Then use a specialist rug cleaning product or a mixture of water and vinegar.

Trim protruding threads

Longer or protruding threads can be carefully trimmed flush with the pile. No hole will form in the rug.

Professional cleaning

Have your rug professionally cleaned at least once a year to remove deep-seated dirt and preserve its value and appearance in the long term.

Avoid direct sunlight

Avoid direct sunlight, as this can cause fading. Curtains or blinds provide additional protection.

Avoid pressure marks from heavy furniture

Avoid placing heavy furniture permanently in the same spot on the rug. Use felt pads to reduce pressure marks.

Fluffing

Some fluffing is normal in the first few weeks, particularly with wool rugs. It is caused by fine fibres that come loose during spinning and is a sign of natural materials. Over time, fluffing decreases significantly.

If your rug requires a special treatment, such as impregnation, please contact a specialist retailer or professional rug cleaning service.

If you are not satisfied with the item, you may return it within 31 days of receipt without giving a reason. Further information can be found in our right of withdrawal. We will cover the return shipping costs – regardless of the item's value. Once the item has been received at our warehouse, we will promptly refund the full purchase amount.
