The Persian carpet that is deftly knotted is the Tabriz - Royal. It comes from careful handwork using cork wool of a high standard. The Tabriz 40 Raj is within the topmost appealing ones. The carpet has a good influence on the Persian art of knotting. The most significant areas in Persia have made it admired. There is a sizeable medallion with admirable floral motifs that is typical of oriental motifs. They are situated at the center. Tabriz carpets usually have the Raj design with differing sizes. The variation is from the 40 up to 80 Raj. Raj with a higher number has a delicate and dense knot of the carpet. Raj details the number of knots on a scale of around 70 mm. The condensed knotting facilitates the rugged and durable nature that is suitable for all conditions. It provides an exemplary elegance and colour splendour associated with a worthy carpet.
