The Gholtogh carpet offers you a piece of the Orient directly into your home! This carpet comes from a small Kurdish town in western Persia. It is known for its robustness and durability thanks to the traditional Turkish knotting technique. The pile is pressed together so tightly with a comb that it stands almost vertically upwards. Popular designs include the Herati pattern, medallion and floral patterns. With this carpet, you have a piece of the Orient right on your doorstep.
